Zenyasa Yoga & Wellness Studio or at your home if you have your 
own massage table.

What Kind of Massage Does Jason Offer?
Jason’s massage sessions incorporate a combination of Swedish, 
deep tissue, myofascial, shiatsu and sports massage techniques, 
depending upon the kind of massage you’ve requested and what is 
going on in your body  
The amount of pressure used depends upon whether you are seeking 
a relaxation massage primarily to help alleviate stress, or a more 
therapeutic massage meant to to alleviate troublesome knots, 
adhesions and trigger points 
In most cases, Jason will likely alternate between “feel-good” strokes 
like effleurage and petrissage and deep-tissue strokes like compression
and cross-fiber friction... but you are always encouraged to
communicate if the pressure is too deep, or if you’d like it deeper 
in certain areas

How Long of a Massage Should I Book?
60 minutes: Enough time for a full-body relaxation massage, or a
deep-tissue massage that address two or three main areas of concern 
*75 minutes: Enough time to perform a full-body deep-tissue or 
relaxation massage, with a little extra attention to two or three main 
areas
90 minutes: Time enough for a spacious, full-body, deep-tissue 
massage with extra attention to several areas of your choice 
*This is the recommended length, and the minimum length if you want 
a full body deep-tissue massage

What are some of the benefits of massage?
As a general wellness modality, research has shown that massage 
therapy can reduce stress, eliminate physical tension, improve 
circulation, and enhance  overall feelings of well-being by releasing
the “feel-good” neurotransmitters in the body (endorphins and 
enkephalins)
The therapeutic benefits of massage therapy are extensive, and 
have been well-documented (read some of the documented benefits) 
If you lead an active lifestyle, spend a lot of time working out, or 
participate in athletics of any kind, massage therapy can also help 
increase muscle recovery time, increase flexibility, flush out 
metabolites and other toxins, and reduce post-workout soreness 
If you are recovering from an injury, massage therapy has been 
shown to reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, support the immune 
system, align scar tissue as it is being laid down, and help speed 
healing time
